Hi! I'm trying to use ADC ALC system in DA7212. I switch on high-pass filter by ADC_HPF_EN = 1 (and ADC_VOICE_EN = 1). Unfortunately, input sound of ultra-low frequency - like wind or breath, produces ALC attenuation. Is there any way to filter low frequencies before ALC?
Best regards,
Nick
Device:
The HPF comes after the ALC so it will have no effect. If you don’t care about the low frequencies (and want to throw them away) you could change the 1uF input capacitor on our evaluation board.
If you change this cap to 470nF it would move the cut off to 1/2pi*10k*470n = 33Hz
If you change this cap to 220nF it would move the cut off to 1/2pi*10k*220n = 72Hz
