Hi, I have DA14580DEVKT-B development kit. Downloaded SDK5.0.4. Is this SDK compatible for the mentioned development board. I tried ble target/Proximity reporter code. Its working but not able to understand the function APIs used in it. Is there any document available for this.?
You can have a look at the UM-B-051 DA1458x Software Platform Reference.pdf, and also for the basic kit you can have a look at the UM-B-048 which is the user manual for the basic dev kit.

Regarding your question, yes, but you will have to change the power supply of the 580 and switch it to battery via the J5 header.
