You can check the power measurement tutorial in the Documentation Tab at the Tutorial section, the dev kit used in the example is a pro dev kit but the dev kits (pro and basic) share similarities so you can do the same setup and measure the power consumption on the basic kit, the header for the basic kit that you can switch between battery and usb supply is J5.
