Dear All,
I have a DA14531-OOFXDEVKT-P Development kit.
I had some hard time working through the UART example, for which connections requested by the manual did not match the needed connections (J2.26 for TX and J2.27 for RX instead of J2.27 and J2.28). With these settings, it worked.
Then, I get the same kind of problem with the codeless firmware: no problem with BLE communication and AT commands but when I try to wire the MB with the requested settings as mentioned inhttp://lpccs-docs.dialog-semiconductor.com/UM-140-DA145x-CodeLess/howToUse.html#hardware-setup, figure 9, I get some strange characters back and nothing more. I used the settings mentioned with different terminals (although without hardware flow control) on my PC, after downloading the hex with the flash programmer utility. Nothing worked.
Help is eagerly needed.
Thank you in advance,
Pascal
Hi Pascal,
Thanks for your question.
I am using the same configuration like figure 9 and I am able to run the CodeLess perfectly. I am not able to see invalid data in the Serial terminal.
What is the baud rate that you are using? In my side I am using 57600.
Thanks, PM_Dialog
Thank you for your answer. Yes same baud rate. But no flow control.
I re-checked and I'm not able to properly communicate. I added a photograph of the set-up.
,看看我remark that could help above about the changes needed to communicate with the blinking example.
I checked all connection with multimeter, etc.
The Codeless works quite well with an iPhone and BlueLight. It is about the UART. I'm using the debugging mode, but also the flash programminh with the .hex provided. None worked.
Any help appreciated.
Thank you,
Pascal
Dear Mrs, Mr,
I retried today with the same configuration and using the .hex file only. It is now working, yes. It is not in debugging mode with Keil : problem of conflict with SPI ?
Thank you in advance,
Pascal
Hi There,
Sorry but I cannot replicate this issue. I have same HW configuration in my side..
Which CodeLess project are you using?
Thanks, PM_Dialog
Sorry. I missed your last comment. Have you burnt the SPI flash and boot from there?
Thanks, PM_Dialog
Dear PM_Dialog,
Thank you for asking. No, I didn't burn the flash yet. I'm still trying to figure out how :-) but I guess this is not in µVision but in your other tool.
If it works that way, then I think the matter is settled. Thank you very much for the help.
Additional questions but I will post them in another thread.
Best regards,
Pascal
