Direct Mode for Certification Tests

Hi
We need to support the certification Test House with Direct Mode for CE/FCC testing.
I have been trying to use Smartsnippets and RF Master together with plt_fw.bin

We can't make it work on the Pro-Kit, we are unsure about how to connect .
我们需要使用FTDI系列USB连接线吗?或is the USB (Dbg) connector enough?

We can't find propper instructions.

Yes, we have been following the Application Note AN-B-043 .

We download the software with the USB debug port and start the RF Master from Smartsnippets Tool

But the test function does not respond.

The RF Master comments about the command need to be send by UART port .
We tried again by connecting with UART port but still no response.

When using UART port to download software. I get a reset request .

INFO RF Master @17-10-06 10:06:04] COM17 will be used for serial communication.
[ACTION RF Master @17-10-06 10:06:04] Please press the hardware reset button on the board to start the download process.
[ERROR RF Master @17-10-06 10:07:30] Failed downloading firmware file: ERR_PROT_NO_RESPONSE.

Do you know how to generate the RESET ? Is it by togling the RST pin ?

Hi,

You can reset the chip via the push button (K2) on the ProDK board.(K2) connects the RST pin directly with V33, therefore creates a hardware reset on the SOC regardless the state of other possible sources.When a connection over uart has been selected, after pressing the‘Download’ button, the user is prompted to press the reset button of the device via a message at theLog. The application waits for 15 seconds for the reset to be pressed. If reset button is not pressed for 15 seconds, the user will have to press again the ‘Download’ button and repeat the process.
