Device Manager

When i start running my project, I can get the .Hex file to load to the device manger and it all loads correctly. But when I go to boot as a peripheral or central, nothing happens and will not open the prompt to start scanning or advertising. Not sure what is going wrong

嗨caivinc5,

嗨caivinc5,

On which tool you are refering to ? The Connection Manager perhaps ? In order to use the Connection manager you will have to first download the fw on the 580 and then you can hit the boot as central or as a peripheral in order to start scanning or advertising (the connection manager should download the fw automatically and after that you can issue the commands), also the UART jumpers should be in place in case you are using the flow control option if not remove the jumpers and set the option to none.

Thanks MT_dialog

Hi calvinc5,

Hi calvinc5,

Please dont post duplicate questions over the forum, the new question that you have created will be deleted.

关于你的问题:

What is the fw that you are downloading to the 580, the Connection Manager utilities operates with the full_emb.hex file provided in the Connection Manager directory bin/firmware_upload ? Which dev kit you are using ? Do you have the UART pins connected (RTS/CTS in case you have the RTS/CTS option selected) ? Are you certain that you select the proper UART port in order to send the UART commands to the 580 ?

Thanks MT_dialog
