About GU firmware version check

About GU firmware version check

Hi Dialog,
Currently I am trying to use PTL v4.1 , but it can't work well, i don't find the reason about this question.
The log displays as follow:

And DA1458x_DA1468x_PLT_Release_Notes_v4.1_0 explains that:
“GU firmware version check.
PLT v4.1 requires the GU firmware to be updated. For compatibility reasons from now on,
PLT will read the GU firmware version and check whether it is compatible to the version the PLT requires.
This feature can be disabled if requested."

Maybe that is the reason，so can you tell me that:
1. How to be updated for the GU firmware?
2. How to disable the checking of GU firmware version?

Hi Bean,

  1. You will be able to find the the new fw binary of the Golden Unit in the \DA1458x_DA1468x_PLT_v_4.1.0.132\executables\binaries\GU, then you can use Smart Snippets in order to update the flash that holds the Golden Unit's fw. You will be able to find some info in the UM-B-041 DA1458x_DA1468x_Production_Line_Tool_4v0.pdf in paragraph 4.8.4.
  2. For the second question i am checking with team, i will let you know as soon as i ve got an update.
