Single Slave - Multiple Master - Multi link Capability

Hi Dialog

Q1:任何对话框Ble支持多Link Capability (single Slave can connect to multiple master BLE's)...

Q2: Does Any of Dialog Ble supports role Switching (from slave/Master to Master/ slave role ??)

Q3: if BLE module is updated from 4.2 to 5, what all are the changes made .. hardware side or BLE stack side or both Hardware and Software...i Googled it but i am getting mixed responses..

Hi prasanth,

  1. The 68x and the 585/585 support this kind of configuration, up to 8 devices connected.
  2. Role switching is supported from the 580 device (by reseting the stack, you wont be able to operate as both and keep your connections when switching), but he 68x and 585/586 do support both roles simultaneously, and are able to keep their connections established.
  3. I dont really get the question, at least for dialog products you wont be able to update a 580 to support BLE 5.0 or the optional features of the 4.2 stack, this is because of the different hardware and software that each device supports.
