Note: my SDK version DA14585_DA14531_CODELESS_v_6.380.9.10 is not listed in the SDK dropdown on this forum page.
1. I am interested in using the DA14531 chip/module in a product. I would prefer to completely avoid factory programming if possible.
- Does the 14531 come with firmware preinstalled?
- What verson/command set?
Thanks for your help,

Both DA14581 SoC and DA14531 Module come without any pre-programmed firmware.
If they came with any pre-programmed firmware, then they cannot be used as provided. Since it is a product, you should program it with your own firmware.
For example, the CodeLess project uses a specific BLE Device name, in order to change it you should have an option to program the DA14531.
Additionally, please keep in mind that CodeLess is a reference application design which is based on top of SDK6. That’s why there is not any option in the drop-down menu to select the CodeLess.
Would it be possible to share a high-level of the application in order to help you with DA14531 ?

Thank you. Do dialog have a programming service I could use?
The most basic version of my product just needs to illuminate an LED and then share a phototransistor voltage measurement (ADC). Another version has an accelerometer and a few other sensors. I just need to be able to connect to them from a smartphone, or from a sister product which I thought might also use a DA14531.
I see you have these (//www.xmece.com/products/production-line-tool) but it would be much more convenient if I could just order a reel with my firmware already installed.
Thanks again for your help.
I was hoping you might have something similar to this (https://www.microchipdirect.com/programming/)
嗨,杰森,
There is now a jig available for programming the DA14531MOD. Please follow the link below:
