Permenent sleep off

Hello!

I was wondering if the DA1450 can be awake the whole time. I want to have the BLE on so I can connect my phone everytime I need to read. If there is a way to keep the device awake, how do i achieve this?

Hi Vrado,

You have the ability to have the BLE on the whole time, in user_config.h you can set the default_sleep_mode=ARCH_SLEEP_OFF. Furthermore to be able to connect with your phone every time, depends on the advertising mode you choose, in your case the most suitable is the undirected advertising mode (for example in non-connectable advertising the device advertises but you can’t connect on it).It’s not necessary to be awake the whole time, the device goes to sleep between the advertising and connection intervals after these events you can be connected.
