PAN1740 to PC communication

Hi,

I was working with PAN1740. I was using sps_device project. I was able to send and receive data to DSPS app in android.

Now Im looking to have communication between Bluetooth and PC. Do we have any project to achieve this ?. Thank you.

Hi Gandhi,

Can you please clarify which is your requirement? Do you want to a DA14580 connected with the PC and sending data over the air through a serial monitor? So, you will have two DA14580, the first on will run the dsps_host firmware and the second one will run the dsps_device firmware. One of them will be connected with the PC. If my understanding is incorrect, please try to explain what you are trying to accomplish.

My requirement is to connect

My requirement is to connect DA14580 to some application on PC. I have already made an custome board where I have connected my DA14580 to a MSP430 controller over UART.

Here Im not using two Da14580 devices.

Now I can see my bluetooth on PC (sps_device code running on DA14580) but Im not able to connect it to PC. After connecting to PC then I want to see the data on some application on PC.

I would strongly recommend to check out the Azurewave module on the DA14585 as it is a better and newer SDK / more examples / and has a roadmap.

If you are starting a new design, we would recommend to start with the DA14585 – the SDK is much improved, we have a lot of software examples and more detailed documentation that it will be very helpful to getting started. In addition, there is also software roadmap support on the DA14585 to our next generation device that is announced 5th November, Please check out DA14585/6 support port and take a look at our latest SDK6:
