Can system shut down to protect the battery

hi , dialog
We use the lithium battery to supply the DA14861 system . In order to prevent the battery overdischarge , can DA14681 shut down itself when VBAT voltage is below a preset threshold ? And system can restart when VBAT voltage recover to threshold level.

Hi guxiang,

Hi guxiang,

Could you please check the paragraph 7.2 Safety Provided by DA1468x of the DA1468x Battery Charging (AN-B-035) document? In this paragraph is described the safety provided be DA1468x. The device supports a brownout detection that switches the DC-DC off when the battery voltage drops below 2.5 V. Also, be aware that the 2.5V limit is not standard and it depends on the manufacturer.

Thanks, PM_Dialog
