Dev Kit Pro - Barebones Example Hardfault

Hi,
I'm using this:

Dev kit pro
SDK 6.0.10.511

I've been trying to get the examples in (DA14585/DA14586 Getting Started Guide with the PRO-Development Kit) to work. I've also gone through the steps in (DA1458x/68x Development Kit J-Link Interface Application Note AN-B-052). The blinky example project is running fine. When I try to run the barebones or proximity reporter example projects, they don't work. It looks like the exectution does not get past a Hardfault_HandlerC function. The kit is not sending any BLE advertisements. What should I try next?

Thanks,
Justin

嗨jbuttelmann,

嗨jbuttelmann,

Please try to run the ble_app_barebone default example of the SDK. I am able to download firmware and the DA14585 is advertising correctly. Could you please check the jumpers’ configuration? So, you run your code with the debugger attached and the code end up into the hardfault handler. Is that correct? I would highly suggest you to have a look at theTutorial 8: Debugging methods_v1.1in order to find the reason of the hardfault.

Thanks, PM_Dialog

It was a bad daughter board

It was a bad daughter board on the dev kit. I ran the same program with a different daughter board, and it worked as expected. Thanks for the reply.
