Hi MT_Dialog,

What is the initial state of GPIOs of DA14585 when powered on.

Hi sr9213,

Hi sr9213,

INPUT_PULLDOWN is the default state upon bootup, and after the bootloader is has completed mirroring the application from the external peripherals it will restore the this state to the pins when booting the custom application.

Thanks MT_dialog

Hi Dialog,

Hi Dialog,

Thanks for the reply, so if I were to imitate the power control for the external flash(using p-channel power MOSFET) as in the smart tag design (based on 850) with 585, there won't be any issues since the initial power-on state of GPIOs would be INPUT_PULLDOWN.

Thanks & best regards.

Hi sr9213,

Hi sr9213,

As mentioned, when booting the port 0 pins are taking different kind of configuration in order for the device to boot (depending on what kind of booting procedure the device follows, since the scanning of the peripherals isn't always executed) but as soon as the device boots the pins will be in the predefined state, so if you place the mosfet in any of the port 0 pins then the pins will toggle and affect the control of the mosfet, appart from that, the gpio's are in input pull down state when the device runs the actual fw, so even if you dont explictly configure that pin that controls the mosfet you will be fine.

Thanks MT_dialog
