Can the PLT software be used on the DA14681 Bluetooth Smart Development Kit - Pro

We want to develop a pc software that will manage BD Addresses in a database, edit configuration file and run tests via PLT CLI. The final scenario for this is that this will be used on a PLT board on the manufacturing line.

But during the development process, we would like to utilize the Bluetooth Smart Development Kit because it is cheaper than the PLT board and we will be purchasing several of those for different developers.

Is the PLT Software compatible with the development kit? We are only interested on the features and functions of the PLT Software.

Hello jlabuac,

Our PLT software is designed to work with the PLT hardware only. This is due to the fact that it is dependent on some of the hardware components present on the PLT tool.
