Murata ZY - how is it supposed to work

Dear all,

我'm trying to figure out a way the Murata ZY module is set up. (1) Does anyone here can suggest, if it is shipped with BT stack installed? (2) If so, how do I 'activate' it? (3) If not, will purchasing Murata $300 dev board give me access to tools to install the BT stack on the module?

我only need the module as a wireless UART bridge, I do not need any custom application code on it, nor do I need to use GPIOs, OTP, serial memory or security features as long as it is possible to avoid it.

我tried to evaluate Version 5.x, but I am using it with DA14580 M0 is not included in the supported CPU and additional files such as an option kit for M0 Files have to be prepared separately. Is there an option kit for Version 5.x operation? I am currently using Murata product LBCA type ZY (4.1) and plan to update to 4.2.

Dear Dialog Support,

using the SDK6 of the MultiSensor DK, I notice that the fusion data is transmitted with the correct absolut orientation. With SDK5 of the IoT Sensor DK, this does not seem to be the case. The starting orientation does not seem to take into account the magnetometer data.

我found information regarding the AHRS in UM-B-101. Is this new in the SDK6 SmartFusion Library, and was not yet present in the one of SDK5?

Current consumption during sleep

Hi,
我am using murata type-ZF design kit. I am trying to measure the current consumption during extended sleep mode which is supposed to be of the order of 5 to 10 micro amps max, but it is showing 120 to 150 micro Amps.
我am using smart snippets power profiler to measure the current, and The multiplier is set to 1x which was 10x before.
My setup is very simple. I have just connected the board to my PC using the USB cable, and loading the firmware using smart snippets .

Hi Dialog,

我am using the murata Type-ZFdesign kit, its motherboard is P2ML3656.
我read the training_04_sleep_modes_current_measurement.pdf, but that tells me how to measure current on a pro-development kit. I am not able to figure out how to measure it on this board.
Can you help me out.
This board has a EN_MEAS+ and EN_MEAS- , I'm wondering if I have to use them.

We'd appreciate it if you tell us the following three points about software license.

1.SDK(5.0.4) contains BLE STACK produced by Riviera Waves which has been acquired by CEVA.
我s it possible to develop and sell our products without permission by CEVA company?

2.FreeRTOS(GPL license) is used for its BLE STACK.
我s there a mandatory to open source codes? If not, are there any other things we have to do?

3.Is there any other Open Source Software included in SDK(5.0.4)?

Flashing Murata ZY Module

Hi,

我just purchased Murata ZY Module and have UART lines, Vcc, Ground lines pulled out from it.
我am trying to flash the device using smart snippets through UART lines P02,P03 and also P04,P05.
But it is not working.
我s there any bootloader code or startup code that needs to be flashed on to the module before I can use smart snippets?

My main objective is it not use OTP for firmware and use external processor and serial bootloading.
