Cannot get examples to work on Basic Development Board

For section 6 in UM_B_025 DA14580_581_Bluetooth_Smart_developement_kit-Basic V2.2, I am getting: .\Out\periph_setup.axf: error: L6031U: Could not open scatter description file .\Out\wakeup.sct: No such file or directory

For section 5, I am getting: src\../include/core_cm0.h(127): error: #5: cannot open source input file "core_cmInstr.h": No such file or directory

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi There,

did you unzip the SDK ? if you just downloaded / copied, the SDK cannot find the files. IT needs to be unzipped. This is the first thing to check ( a common problem, done it several times myself).

I get this error in every example project. How does Keil get to know where the SDK is? You said unzip the SDK, but it still needs to know the path to it. How do I set this?

I got pass that point now,

I got pass that point now, managed to figure out where to specific path to include.

I am now having trouble with step 6.1.5 in UM_B_025 DA14580_581_Bluetooth_Smart_developement_kit-Basic V2.2.pdf . Where is this .sct file?

I figured out the issue. I was using the old blinky example:
