Direct Radio Access Custom Protocol

Hi,

Is it possible to get direct access to the radio to send a generic data packet without the use of the BLE stack? It doesn't have to be a BLE packet. My application requires the device to send a datapacket milliseconds after powerup. Is something like this possible with the DA14531 and if so, is there any documentation or example which demonstrates this?

Thanks,

Hi Ray,

Hi Ray,

Thanks for your question online. I’ll change the device selection from DA14580 to DA14531 (DA14580 is selected in the initial post). Let me check your question and I’ll revert back to you.

Thanks, PM_Dialog

Hi Ray,

Hi Ray,

I've done some related work to operate radio directly to achieve high performance of scan and advertising.

As I know, partly, it is possible to control the radio to send a generic data packet, you should do some hijacking to SDK, such as call low level API directly and operate some system and radio registers.

The air packet format should be limited to:

Sync word and additional preamble can be encapsulated into .

For some reason, I can't tell you more details now.

Good Luck!
