Wearable development screen stopped working

Hi,
I have received my Wearable development kit and have been using it for a few weeks now.
All of a sudden the screen on the development kit stopped working, I can connect to the device and I can also see prints I am generating in code in the serial interface but the screen does not show anything and the touch functionality does nothing as well.
Is there a known issue for this to happen? Is there a way to perhaps hard-reset the device? Flicking the on switch on/off does not help (although I can see in the serial interface that something happens when I do that).

Thanks,
Roy.

Hi roybenshiomo,

Hi roybenshiomo,

没有已知的问题the wearable device related with the screen to just stop working, perhaps you have altered the fw in a way that prevents the device with interfacing with the screen, there is no hard reset in order to restore the device in a previous state, what you can do, is re-download the fw of the wearable device and check if the screen is responding as it should. Also what also might happen is the following, the screen will operate only if you have set a power source the battery or if you have the charger attached, if you have the reference design in off state and the device is powered from the JTAG connection then you should see the screen flashing with Dialog logo and then switch off again since when powering threshold of the fw will force the device to go in hibernation state, so in order for the device to operate properly you will have to either power the device from the battery (if the battery is charged) or have the charger cable attached.

Thanks MT_dialog

Hi ksalgado,

Hi ksalgado,

Agree with MT_Dialog. There is not any issue related to the screen of wearable design. Did you modify the firmware? If yes, please share the modifications you have done. Can you please download the default wearable firmware? In addition, please the answer above from the MT_Dialog.

Thanks, PM_DIalog
