Hi ,
I just bought another DA14580DEVKT-B this week. However , unlike the first DA14580DEVKT-B i have , when i plugged in i cant get JLINK CDC UART PORT to appear. I dont think it the my computer driver as i can still plug in my old DA14580DEVKT-B and get the port to appear in my device list. With the new device it doesnt appear.
错了什么?
Regards

Hi ridzuwary,
Could you please clarify which development board you are using? Do you mean the Pro-DK? If yes, I would suggest you to check the jumpers configuration and should be according to the user manual. If you have the correct jumpers’ configuration, you should detect 2 COM port in the Windows Device manager. Please open the device manager and indicate if you can detect two COM Ports. If you still unable to detect youρ boards, please send me a photo of your board. Let me ask you something. Did you try to program it through Keil IDE?
Thanks, PM_Dialog

I could not detect COM Port ( That is the issues ) . My jumper are exactly as per my other ( bought earlier ) DA14580DEVKT-B board . The board that i bought earlier have no problem as the COM port appear immediately when i plugged in. The new one that i have problem doesnt show the COM port in the device manager.

Im trying to connect through TeraTerm . The COM port should be available but it is not.
Hi ridzuwary,
I’ve just checked you attached photos and you have the correct jumpers’ configuration. Could you please try to connect the board with another USB cable and try a different USB port? That’s very weird behavior, but let’s take it step by step.
Thanks, PM_Dialog
Hi problem solved. Apparently , the VCOM port that should already be 'enabled' by manufacture default is not 'enabled' . Im using J-Link Configurator to enabled it after reading this notes :
