Hello,
I am currently testing the DA14681 Pro Development kit and wish to perform DTM based tests on the kit.
I am using the plt_fw project under the reference designs of the SDK(version 1.0.14.1081) to build the code. The Smart Snippets toolbox was used to burn the .bin file onto the DK's QSPI using JTAG.
I currently have a R&S CMW 270(BLE) tester for performing the DTM. I have used the P1_3 and P2_3 as the UART HCI connection ports for the tester. However, my tester doesnt seem to be recoginising the DUT.
我设定的波特率19200年和115200年the result still being the same(PS: This change was programmed into the config.c file under the startup sub project).
Please let me know as to what I am doing wrong in this procedure.

Hi rahul.cloudchip,
Could you please let me know if you followed the procedure described into the section 4.2.3 Setting up DTM via the tester’s USB port using CMW270 of theAN-B-043 Application Note: DA1468x Bluetooth Direct Test Modeapplication note document. Did you placed correctly the jumpers into the header J15 od the 681 Pro-DK? The UART pins are correct and they are the default pins that plt_fw and Pro-DK using. Also, could you please clarify if you have done any modification into the plt_fw project?
Thanks, PM_Dialog
Hello,
I restarted the DTM procedure based on the application note: DA1468x Bluetooth DTM and the jumper points were placed on J 15, when the connection was made directly to the CMW tester using a USB. And when I used a UART connection, the points were connected as mentioned in the application note. The issue that i am facing is that the UART connection to the DK is failing and a reset EUT isnt possible from the tester side. I have attached a screenshot of the same. Please advise on this matter.
Hi rahul.cloudchip,
Could you please clarify if you have the same setup as it is shown in Figure 1 of the AN-B-043 user manual? Also, I would suggest you to use short USB cables. Also, are you able to see your device into the Device manager? If yes, did you select the correct COM port?
Thanks, PM_Dialog
Hello Dialog Team,
Yes, I can confirm that I have used the same setup as shown in Fig. 1 of the AN-B-043 manual. We even replaced our cables with shorter lengths and the I can see that it recognizes the J link device connection on my PC. And the right COM port was selected. I can also confirm that the RX front end is working based on the power profiler tool.
