We have succeeded in the installation of the Keil tool on Windows 7.
When trying to install it into Windows 8.1 it doesn't recognize the Basic SDK board.
This same board is working OK on the other stations.
Are we missing something?

Keil on Windows 8.1
Hi Rony,
You are missing something... Win7 ;o)
Joke aside, did you download and install the proper FTDI and Segger drivers?
No joke. You are absolutely right. But our "Professor on board" has a new windows 8 laptop...
We didn't see any difference in the Keil website.
From where do we get the right FTDI and Segger drivers?
For information about FTDI and Segger drivers, please refer to the following document:http://support.dialog-semiconductor.com/expert-dev-kit-um-b-014-user-manual-%E2%80%93-development-kit
We have the basic dev kit not the expert.
我们跟着教诲tions and have been successful on windows 7.
Didn't see any difference on the downloads for the different OS.
The FTDI and Segger drivers are same for basic and expert kits.
I guess your question is what are the drivers for Windows 8.1. I will check if you need different drivers Windows 8.1.
Can you confirm that you have tried these drivers on your Windows 8.1, and they donot work.
Yes. We have 2 stations based on windows 7 working just great.
We just couldn't set up the Windows 8.1 station.
Thanks
Here is the result of testing with Windows 8.1.
We downloaded a fresh Jlink driver from their website and installed it on a Windows 8.1 64 bit machine.
Downloaded Dialog Smartsnippet 3.6.
Connected a DA14580 Basic Kit, and successfully downloaded and executed one project.
Thanks
