Hi,
is it possible to use a common, bigger, SMD crystal (16MHz) like this one from IDQ (LFXTAL003237) for system clock of DA14585?
Because the crystal suggested is very much more expensive.

君子rding the «DA14585/DA14586 Application Hardware Design Guideline AN-B-054»application note document from our support page, you should select a crystal having a maximum ESR lower than 100 Ω. The LFXTAL003237 has 40 Ω maximum ESR, so you are able to use this kind of crystal in order to reduce the cost. For more information, please have a look into the AN-B-054 document
