Hi paramvir.in@gmail.com,

Hiparamvir.in@gmail.com,

The DA14580 has smaller memory than the DA14586, so it has lower power consumption. Also, the DA14586 has integrated FLASH 2Mbit, extended user RAM (96 kB) and a DMA controller for fast data transfers from/to SPI, UART, I2C, PDM and PCM to/from any on-chip RAM. Be aware that the choice of the chip you want to use depend on the application you want to develop. You can find a brief of our DA1458x family SoCs on the link below.

Hi

Hi

what kind of applications we can make with DA14586. And specifically can we use it for keyring trackers ?
and if yes how differ it is from DA14580 in terms of power consumption in similar case programs.

So bluetooth 5(DA14586) vs 4.2(DA14580) and memory (DA14586 > DA14580)
which dominates more in terms of power consumption.

Thanks
Paramvir

Hi paramvir.in@gmail.com,

Hiparamvir.in@gmail.com,

The DA14580 has better power consumption than DA14586, but is has smaller SysRAM (32K). Also, the DA14586 has more features from DA14580, as integrated SPI flash, DMA controller, etc. The choice of the chip depends on you application and your implementation. For example, if your cade is more than 32K, you will not able to download firmware to the SysRAM using DA14580. Also, the power consumption depends on how you will use the features of each chip.

Using the DA14586 you are able to develop applications like:

  • Remote controls
  • Proximity tags and trackers
  • Beacons
  • Connected medical devices
  • Smart home
  • Human Interface Devices
  • VR controllers
  • Connected sensors
  • Wireless charging

关于我们产品的更多信息,我建议亚博电竞菠菜you to visit our BLE support page (https://support.dialog-semiconductor.com/connectivity). Here you will be able to find the features, the application that you can develop and the benefits of all our products. Also, for more detailed knowledge, it is recommended to check the datasheets of our chips. That will help you to have better opinion about our products and choose which is the best option for your application is.
