Can the debugger/programmer be used to program DA14586

The 58x family and all the tools are tested with the Jlink LITE ARM Debugger, we haven't performed any tests with other Jlink debuggers, please check the link below.

Thus this mean that only Jlink LITE ARM Debugger can be used for DA14585/6? Considering that there are other Jlink debugger available like Jlink Pro, Jlink Ultra +, Jlink Plus, Jlink Base, etc. Is there a compatibility issue to consider when using these debuggers?

This is the debugger that Dialog recommend's and guarantess that will operate over the SoCs provided by dialog, we dont provide any assurance that the rest of the debuggers will operate for the available dialog SoCs.

The reason i asked is that

The reason i asked is that currently I'm trying to run the barebone project on a custom board using a jlink ultra + debugger and experiencing jlink errors. Error reading registers while cpu is running.

As mentioned, i can not verify that the jlink debugger that you are using is going to properly operate with the 585, that is why we recommend the debugger mentioned above.
