Hi DIalog,
Does Dialog support resolvable random address in whitelist?
In your keyboard project, you only accept public address and static random address in the whitelist.
Is that possible for me to reconnect to a central device with resolvable random address if I add its address to whitelist when we paired.
Thanks a lot.
Hi,
I have asked our experts to look into this. I would expect an answer by tomorrow.
Hi,
I received the following response from the team:
"There can't be any resolvable addresses in the White List as far as I know. The reason is that for this procedure to be executed, it should be supported by the HW. But the HW does not operate this way. If you want to resolve an address then, upon connection setup, you should ask it being resolved via the SMPM by sending a message with the address and the IRKs you are aware of."
Does that answer your question?
Hi,
The team is now working on adding a "virtual whitelist" to the next SDK release. What would be the ideal size of such a list in your opinion?
Hi MHv_Dialog,
That's great! I think 5 is great for my application.
Thanks a lot for the work and looking forward for your virtual whitelist.
Best,
