I gained access to the restricted dev tools and supporting documents about a 1/2 week ago. I was able to download the SDK 5.0.4 zip file on my Linux machine (at which point I realized SmartSnippets doesn't support Linux, so I had to dust off the cobwebs on my small win8 machine); but the SDK zip downloads fail on my Windows computer, as do the links to SmartSnippets and Connection Manager.
More specifically, after selecting the "Download" link on the primary "Software Downloads" page, my browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Firefox) returns a "failed download" condition (either in the form of a page stating "cannot access /.../restricted/DA14583..." or "cannot find the file athttps://support.dialog-semiconductor.com/system/files/restricted/DA1458x..." in the case of IE and Firefox, respectively, or in a banner stating ".zip Failed - Server Problem" in the case of Chrome).
How may I remedy this problem?

I ve checked your permissions regarding the software that you are able to download, and you should be ok, does the issue persists ?

Thanks for your quick response. I can download the stand-alone SDK environment ("SDK 5.0.4 (1).zip"), but the issue does persist for the software dev kit download (e.g., "DA1458x_SDK_5.0.4_0.zip").
Is this a permissions error or is there something obvious I'm missing?

I am sorry i dont quite get what you are not able to download, since you are able to download the SDK, which link you are not able to get ? Instead of pasting the link on the post can you please guide me to link page in order to check what you are trying to download ?

Essentially, when I go to the "main"软件下载页面and click on the5.0.4 SDK versionunder "Latest SDK" for DA14580 / DA14581 / DA14583, I can download the plain package file. However when I navigate to theSmartSnippets linkand select the corresponding link (embedded into the "3.12MB"), I cannot download the relevant files.

Still not able to understand what is that you need and the aren't able to download, you will be able to find all the information regarding the 58x SoC if you go through the Products links and choose the 14580 (attached image), on that page an you should be able to see a Software & Tools tab, as soon as you choose the the tab you will be able to find all the available downloads devided into sections (Software Development Kit / Reference Design & Software Examples / etc). Please use that path in order to download anything you need.
