Hi,

I need some clarification on section 7.1 (DK to DK connection setup) of the user manual (UM-B-038).

In item 11, what does it mean when it says "the host device should have discovered and connected to
the peripheral."? Do the two devices connect to each other automatically? What happens if there is a third device within proximity?

Hi,
The SPP service can only support single instance data transfer. To ease the demonstration, the host application is preset to search for the peripheral, pair and then start the data connection session immediately. The 3rd device within proximity will be ignored.

I've tried to run the DK to

I've tried to run the DK to DK connection setup exactly as stated in the manual. When I try to run the Keil project for the central device, it stops almost immediately and I am unable to send data back and forth on the two terminals.

I have gotten the SPP service example to work with an android device and one DK without issue. My thought right now is that Keil is having issues running two different instances on the DK to DK example. Is there something I'm missing or does it need to be run on two different computers?

"It seems that the same target JLink is selected for both central and peripheral projects. If both JLinks are connected at one PC the normally in the JLink configuration window 2 SN must be displayed. The one must be selected for the central project and the other for the peripheral. We usually run both central and peripheral applications on the same PC."

我理解没有睡觉been implemented in the initial release of the SPS, but is there a reason why I am unable to have the code load from flash using SPI on the basic kit? I was able to get the proximity project to work fine. Thanks.
