HI!
Hardware system conditions: the smallest system, nothing more than other chips.
Software system conditions: debug mode, active mode
Average current: the average current is about 600uA, and the average current is about 20uA when the low power mode is turned on
I would like to ask the DA14580 debugging mode in active mode, how much the average current could be? 600uA is high.

Hi z0806020433,
In debugging, 600uA is a normal value, since the jlink is attached.
Thanks MT_dialog
hi!
if i download the program into DA14580 with " #undefine DEBUG_MODE " , then remove the jlink, how much the average current could be?
hi MT_dialog,
1. In my application, i want the average current could be less than 300uA in active mode. i want to know whether DA14580 can do it ? if DA14580 can do it, what should i do?
2. how much is the value of the average current minimum when DA14580 work in active mode?
我读过的文档, but i do not find the answer about the two questions.
so i ask for your help again.
thanks very much!
Hi z0806020433,
I am measuring about 500uA when the device is in active mode without any BLE activity, which is a normal value, you can also have the same measurement just by setting the device in ARCH_SLEEP_OFF and prevent any BLE activity.
Thanks MT_dialog
HI MT_dialog!
Thanks very much!
From your answer, is it meaning that the average current of DA14580 working in active mode can not be less than 300uA? and the Minimum value of the average current is abaout 500uA ?
Hi z0806020433,
No, i dont see how this is possible, i mean to be always active and have 300uA as your average power consumption. The 580 for minimizing its power consumption needs to go in sleep mode. either extended or deep.
Thanks MT_dialog
Hi MT_dialog ,
i know that the 580 for minimizing its power consumption needs to go in sleep mode. either extended or deep.
In my project, I must let the 580 keep on working in active mode, i hope its power consumption be small, e. average current less than 300uA or 400uA. according to your answer, the 580 can not do it in active mode?
thanks!
Hi z080620433,
No, it can not when the device is always active.
Thanks MT_dialog
Hi MT_dialog,
I see it now, Thank you very much again.
