About RF matching

Hi all,

I'm recently reading AN-018 about PCB layout, and I see that in 3.7 it talk about RF matching.

But I found that in the DA14580 datasheet, it said that no RF matching or RX/TX switching required.

Is the RF matching better for getting stronger signal? Or the new DA14580 is enough strong without RF matching?
