SC14CVMDECT PCM Master/Slave roles

We would like to configure the SC14CVMDECT as Fixed Part and interface audio input/output through PCM. Does PCM support both master and slave roles in Fixed part configuration ?

Hi,

Yes, SC14CVMDECT module can support PCM master and slave mode when configued as Fixed Part. In order to keep the audio qualify unaffected, it is better to keep CVM and Codec clock in sync, i,e, choose an external codec with PLL using BXTAL signal as reference clock.
